FAQs

How does GoWP vet their copywriters?
Our copywriters complete three assessments to ensure they meet GoWP’s standards.

First, candidates complete a written assessment that measures their grammar and spelling, ideas and content, and proofreading skills.

Our team reviews these responses and determines if the candidate qualifies for the next stage.

That stage is a face-to-face video interview where we assess each copywriter’s critical thinking and verbal communication skills.

If the candidate successfully satisfies our criteria, they move on to the third and final stage, a trial project. This project is typical of the work our copywriters would be assigned.

If the candidate successfully meets our standards in all three stages, they’re invited to join the team!

What is the copywriter's work schedule?
Your dedicated GoWP copywriter works with you for a 4-hour block every day, Monday through Friday.

Is there any limit to what I can ask my dedicated copywriter to do?
Our copywriters are hired for their depth of experience and skills.

They can do nearly everything within the scope of producing copy for your agency and your clients.

If you have any questions about whether a specific task would be within the scope, the best thing to do is reach out to us and ask!

What if work slows down and I don't need my copywriter for a month?
We understand that your workflow can fluctuate.

It may not always be ideal for you to keep a GoWP copywriter on your payroll.

You have the option to pause the service and pay a weekly retainer to make sure your copywriter is ready when demand picks back up.

Your copywriter is a part of your team, there’s no need to toss out all the great work you’ve done onboarding and creating content.

How does time tracking work?
This is up to you!

The GoWP team will monitor time tracking on our side and we’re happy to manage that for you.

If you’d like to implement your own time tracking process on your side, no problem! Just make sure there is a process in place and that your copywriter knows what is expected of them.

What does onboarding look like?
We have years of experience finding and hiring skilled professionals and we have an awesome team to show for it. But it wasn’t always easy!

Once we match you with your dedicated copywriter, GoWP is still there to support you. We’ll send you a guide to onboarding that copywriter to your team.

We’ll also work with you to schedule a time to meet with our team and the copywriter before their first day on the job.

A successful onboarding experience means you and the copywriter have a mutual understanding of expectations, communication guidelines, and the copywriter feels empowered to succeed!

Can I change copywriters?
Of course! We’ll do our best to make sure your dedicated copywriter matches your needs. But we understand that sometimes things just don’t work out.

Not a problem, we’ll match you with a different copywriter based on your feedback.
